McCann Lowe welcome their new creative directors : Benoit Hilson
and Olivier Roland. The duo also become
part of the management team. This latest appointment marks the accomplishment
of a renewal operation which began last year with the merger of McCann and
Lowe.
Vincent Van Dessel, Managing Director of McCann Lowe, clarifies the
choice : « The task of creative direction has evolved enormously in
recent years. Creativity and leadership are no longer sufficient qualities, the
Creative Director now needs to demonstrate strategic vision, know how to
combine on and offline communication and also take into consideration the
business results and objectives of the agency. This is why McCann Lowe believe
resolutely in their choice of a team with the right complimentary qualities and
that know each other well. »

Benoit and Olivier truly embody the spirit of the new direction at
McCann Lowe. They each have a rich and varied track record :
(Benoit : Euro RSCG, LG&F/Famous, TBWA – Olivier : Leo Burnett,
Duval Guillaume, Euro RSCG, Famous) their experience combines the creative
demands of the local hotshop with the efficiency of international networks.
Benoit and Olivier are both responsible for creative award winning campaigns
(Cannes Lions, Eurobest, CCB’s) and also campaigns awarded for efficiency
(Grand,Gold, Silver and Bronze Effies).
« Effectiveness meets inventiveness, respecting the brand’s DNA and
the reality of consumers expectations. This is the mission for McCann Lowe and
its new creative direction, » concludes Vincent Van Dessel.
With the arrival of Benoit and Olivier, the agency is now equiped with a
bilingual management, allowing McCann Lowe to confirm its position as a wholly
Belgian agency, with the knowledge and competence to create campaigns in both
regions of the country.
